ABOUT THE WORK

Created on raw, heavy-weave cotton canvas using archival media, I begin each work without sketches or predetermined outcomes. I work quickly and responsively, allowing colour, movement and form to emerge before later consciously resolving what has appeared. Each canvas is hand stretched.

Each artwork records a singular moment within my ongoing practice. Originals remain one of a kind in the hands of the collector; no prints or reproductions will ever be produced.

My hope for the collector is that the work becomes something to return to: an object for contemplation, curiosity and personal meaning, kept amongst the things you value most.
